Each seasons collection combines femininity with a sophisticated edge. From delicate blouses paired with soft tailored pieces in washed Irish Linen to fine weights and washed double weaves creating a look of texture and softness.

About The Designer

Colleen Smythe was raised in California and has a background in graphic design. She has been designing Chercher La Femme since 1980. She believes in designing clothes that transcend the merely trendy, preferring quality fabric & craftsmanship. "I am aiming to design clothes that have a comfortable feel, like they have been around for a while. new vintage." She lives Between Brisbane and the family property Southwest of Brisbane with her two children & husband who is an organic grain farmer.
